Crikey, my site's been updated right in the butt 'ole!
If the title didn't already explain to you what's going on, then you can be goddamn sure that I'm not going to explain it again.

some cds which I don't care if you like or not
Well, here's some new reviews, because I feel like sparing a second so that you devoted readers can finally rid yourselves of the "yummy reviews blueballs" that I know you all have, welling in your loins.
Armor for Sleep – What To Do When You Are Dead – I really hate saying that one artist or band sounds like another artist or band, but let’s face it – it’s the easiest way to tell someone if a particular musical act is worth a damn or not. However, while Armor for Sleep can be somewhat easily placed in the increasingly vague genre of indie rock, or as the hip people call it, emo, it's still an almost totally unique act. But AFS isn’t slow like the Weakerthans, and they’re not composed entirely of sad songs like the Get Up Kids. But, so as to avoid their indie rock pigeonholing, they aren’t as poppy as Taking Back Sunday, but they do place some emphasis on keyboards at times, much like Reggie and the Full Effect or the Rentals. So, AFS sounds like themselves. And it’s good stuff too. No screaming, which is my one complaint (well, that and there’s no double bass and they’re not a metal band) but their songs are well written, catchy, and don’t blend together like so many would-be acts do nowadays. A worthwhile purchase if you just want some good, solid indie rock.
Death Cab for Cutie - Plans - I've heard of these guys for years, but never actually had the chance to hear them, mainly because I figured they'd be a wiener band, and we all know that I only listen to bands that you would listen to while sacrificing goats or having satanic orgies. So, naturally, I never got around to it. Obviously, I've gotten around to it now, and let me first say this: They are a wiener band. You'd be better suited practicing your cross-stitching or writing a poem about airplanes and prairie dogs while listening to Death Cab. But, but, I have a little soft spot for soft music, mainly because it's just so goddamn different from what I usually listen to. I suppose there's nothing wrong with being really emo-pop and being good at it. The lyrics are incredibly clever, everything flows, and the music itself, while very reminiscent of such bands as the Weakerthans, is thoughtful in its melody and rhythm. So give it a shot; you never know. But don't take my word for it!
(insert Reading Rainbow chime)
As I Lay Dying – Shadows Are Security – Now here’s a band I can compare to some other bands. Don’t get me wrong, I love metal like no other music (except maybe classical), but I will be the first to admit that a lot of it sounds exactly the same. However, I can pick out discrepencies that can make any two similar bands sound much more different than you might originally think. As I Lay Dying sounds much like Unearth, but Unearth uses more old-school guitar solos, whereas AILD just focuses on rocking your pants off. The singer from AILD sings a lot like the singer from Poison the Well. And all three of these bands sound similar to Shadows Fall, although slightly slower. I could go on and on, probably covering what parts of AILD sound like other bands, but I’ll stop, because my fingees hurt. Yes I said fingees. Your typical hardcore traits apply throughout this whole cd: thundering double bass that will cause instant headbanging. Throat-rending vocals that make me hoarse just listening to it. Undecipherable lyrics, indescribable euphoria; it’s all fucking great. Speaking of undecipherable, all you assholes that give me shit about “oh, they scream so you can’t tell what they said, eat my chode. Read some lyrics while listening to the songs, and I guarantee it will make sense. You fucking people listen to music by people who don’t sing in english, and they don’t get shit on, so you better back the fuck off before I make your day a whole goddamn lot less bright and shiny.
